Some medical services are required to be pre-authorized before the service is performed. Prior authorization assures the patient of their highest level of benefits
UPREHS ePrescribing
Depot Drug has a long history of mail order prescription service to our members. Railroad employees, retirees, Medicare members and their spouses look to us to be a partner with their physician in getting them the medications they need to maintain health.
We encourage your practice to e‐prescribe for Union Pacific Railroad Employes Health Systems (UPREHS) members.
Notice for Healthcare Professionals
There has been a change in processing claims for work-related injuries. All services provided on or after July 15, 2011 for Union Pacific work-related injuries must be submitted to United Healthcare. Work related prescriptions should be filled through UPREHS’ Depot Drug.
